We feel strongly that the people of Elbert County are not anti-growth. We’re pro-responsibility, pro-property rights, and pro-community. We want schools that are funded, emergency services that are equipped, and small businesses that can thrive. We want our kids and grandkids to build their lives here—not be forced to move away due to lack of job opportunities and housing.
None of that is possible if the county slams the brakes on all development. Our hope is that local officials make a point to collect a broad range of perspectives from Elbert County residents on the moratorium.
